A thin layer of whitening gel is applied, and a special LED light activates the whitening gel. This process takes around 15 minutes, and it’s repeated three times during your visit.

Are there professional at-home whitening options?

If you’d prefer to whiten your teeth at home and on your own schedule, Smile Studio of Buford also offers a take-home whitening system. 

This option uses a tray-based approach to whiten your teeth. You simply apply a thin line of the professional-strength whitening gel to each tray, which then fits snugly over the surface of your teeth. 

The Smile Studio of Buford provides instructions on how long to wear your trays, as well as tips to make at-home whitening as easy as possible. This option does take more time than in-office whitening, but it allows you to control the shade of your smile and perform whitening whenever you feel like your teeth need a brightening boost.
